Description Belt, Sam Browne. One end of belt has brass buckle with 2 prongs for attachment to other end. Four inches from end of buckle is a brass stud where other end locks over. There are 2 wide D rings on outside of stud attached to leather. Another 4 inch down is a brass clip. The 6" down from that are 2 more D rings on other end are: 5 holes and 10 holes. Reddish/brown in color. Specialized belt worn by a serviceman between WWI and WWII. Pistols and other similar equipment could be attached. Sword fob that was on the belt when photo was taken is not there "old reg" type belt. Decorative stitching on buckle end with a blue, stamped leather backing on inside.
